Sometimes, the best part about being a photographer is getting to meet new people and learn about different industries and trades. Last year, I had the pleasure of traveling to the farms of Colorado to photograph the landscape and the farmers that live/ work there. I must say that this was an amazing experience, especially because of an impromptu aerial shoot that I was able to do with one of the farmers. Flying over the farms and looking over the landscape was an unbelievable experience.
During the shoot, I learned a lot about the struggles that potato farmers are having due to decreases in water supply in the area and how they are coming together to reduce water usage.
