Last year, there was a lot of buzz around a man who completed 50 IronMan challenges in 50 days, in 50 states. Not only was it unheard of, but it was almost inhuman. I guess that is why they call him the Iron Cowboy.
Although he did it to raise money for the Jaime Oliver Food Foundation, James Lawrence, the Iron Cowboy, also changed what limits people had for themselves. It was a pleasure to photograph him and see what it was like training to become the Iron Cowboy.
My favorite part of this shoot was listening to James tell his story about how he felt after completing his mission, the challenges he faced during the project, and after.
